It has the ability to track units of lot-controlled items from their purchase or production through inventory management and sale. With expiration date recorded for each lotcontrolled item, you can run inventory reports by expiration date to identify items for clearance. When a lot-controlled item necessitates a recall, you can generate reports to locate the remaining items in stock and determine the customers who purchased the items so that they are notified about the need to recall the items. The streamlined lot control system seamlessly integrates with AccountMate 6.5 for LAN's Inventory Control, Accounts Receivable, Sales Order, and Purchase Order, and Kitting modules adding power to your inventory accounting system.

Manufacturer’s Inventory

AccountMate 6.5 for LAN's Manufacturer's Inventory module makes recording the manufacturing transactions simple and efficient. This module helps you manage production without complicated labor transactions or material issues – saving time and money. You can easily create work orders and explode jobs into virtually unlimited levels of raw material, labor, machine, and subassembly components. You can break down large jobs into multiple starting dates manually or automatically post work-in-process status print work orders, routing slips, production slips, and a wide variety of reports and track jobs, resource usage and backorders through to the posting of finished jobs and the cancellation of any unused allocated resources.

Payroll

It is vital for companies to have full control over its payroll system to ensure that it calculates employee compensation accurately and quickly. An inferior payroll system can lead to low employee morale which can adversely affect the company’s operations resulting in decreased profits or loss. AccountMate’s Payroll automates the payroll processes including the set up of records for salaried, hourly and time card/piece work employees and the set up of records for independent contractors, and pay them over a variety of pay periods according to their pay/employment status. Within this flexible system, you can withhold deductions using a variety of methods. You can record additional payments, such as bonuses, for any employee and include it in the same paycheck or separate checks. The system automatically calculates payroll taxes and prints payroll tax returns, W-2 forms, and 1099 forms. This module also facilitates electronic payments of employee and federal tax deposits.

Purchase Order

The Purchase Order module provides flexibility and better control over your purchasing activities. You can password-protect purchase order functions as well as scan select the option to accrue automatically the liability for purchases upon receipt of goods rather than wait until you post the liability through the Accounts Payable module. For each purchasing decision, you always have an abundance of information about each inventory item at your fingertips enabling you to select the appropriate item at all times. It also enables you to define which items are for resale and which items (such as office supplies) are solely for in-house use. Sales Order

AccountMate 6.5 for LAN's System Manager is the control center for  the entire AccountMate 6.5 for LAN accounting system and must be activated in order to run any of the AccountMate 6.5 for LAN modules. System Manager controls the system environment and setup, on-line help, multi-level password security, printer setup, module and company selection, system date, all pop-up menus, among others. It also initializes the system and has multilingual capability. AccountMate 6.5 for LAN’s System Manager boasts a modern-looking interface as well as a user-definable shortcut pane and a power toolbar that helps increase productivity. With the power toolbar, you can easily access Microsoft Office applications with one simple mouse click and quickly access the most recently opened documents.
